  1. An enjoyable evening. Drinks were a little steep for mine but watching seagulls, ducks and feet walking over cracked tiles, for God knows how long, at least helped feed some form of drunken stupor, it porbabaly saved me money. I had moments of putty tins crammed with faecal matter and Jeff Koons popping in and out of my head alas not all was lost. Stand outs for me were, the Beyonce send up in the laundromat, Louise Tu’u’s music stylings, Whipping boy, JPR’S piece delivered by the incomparable and well muscled Mr. Seve and of course Ms. Kihara’s percussive mash-up. Would I go along for another night of opening Pandora’s box to see what delights await to stimulate or fall short of expectation? Of course I would. It’s humbling to be in the company of creative souls but the discomfort that our esteemed MC spoke of at the conclusion of the eveing is as much the lot of the artist who must bare open their creative soul for all and sundry to behold. In that respect the ménage à trois lauded at the beginning of the night may be less about mutual gratification on 3 tiers as it is a dialogue when an artist can never truly be separate from the work. That would be as a body without a soul. Keep up the great work.
